"My work is a spontaneous reaction to people, places and things that I encounter. These reflections and reinterpretations are then adapted into different mediums. My work is visually diverse and crafted in several disciplines such as etchings, drawings, painting and photography.
My intentions are to provide the viewer with a pleasing sense of the world and daily living that sometimes isn’t so apparent." Mario

JIMMY SWOOPS
Utilising screenprinting, collage and stencils in his works he has developed a style that owes much to the early American skateboard art of the 1980s fused with a meticulous eye for the decorative.
This show sees him exploring the rich and colourful imagery of ancient Japan.
ARTARDIS
The works he creates resemble a brief glimpse of a mysterious and grand scheme. Fragments of both the supernatural and science factual exist harmoniously yet paradoxically in the same space.
J. C. FAULKNER
Through his photographs, an everyday scene most could easily pass by becomes a classic composition of colour, light and form; while his paintings for this show evoke the instinctive feeling of safety through the depiction.
