One of Brighton's oldest public houses, the history of the Marlborough rumours stories of tunnels leading to the Pavilion, debauchery, and hauntings...these days it is a friendly local to many. Upstairs features a lovely 60-seater theatre complete with proscenium-arch stage. Chilled during the day, with Wi-Fi, board games, and free pool Mondays Tuesdays & Fridays, the Marlborough has a great pub menu and lots of Happy Hours running into the early evening. By night the Marlborough is welcoming to all but predominantly caters for lesbian/queer Brighton, with DJ's every Friday/Saturday nights, pool competitions open mic, quizzes and lots lots more.
