TRAUMFRAU smashed another Sunday @ The Tube

Aiming to provide a space to promote local performers and meet like-minded people for some fun, the night definitely hit the spot.

If number one was a successful experiment, TRAUMFRAU #2 was simply glorious. A buzzing atmosphere, great music and a mixed crowd of going outers and staying inners, new faces, colorful outfits and the very unusual suspects.

While it is safe to say the crowd was the real soul of the night, the music was undoubtedly the pumping heart. DJ sets from DJ Lonesome M (rocking the Rockabilly vibe), Mrs Norman Knows (unashamedly playing all your guilty pleasures) and DJ Nikka Valentina (Phd Electro and Dance) and Gaptooth’s brilliant live act kept everyone busy on the dancefloor.
But the Traumfrau team is committed to offer more than just music as we all know details make the difference. The place was decorated with DIY wall paper of bookshelves, and the back room turned into a little library, where non dancers could enjoy zines and vintage publications. The place was also decorated with posters inviting people to write their own feminist statement. An intellectual dancefloor for the unusual crowd.
