Easy Bar all set to celebrate Jamaica Independence Day in style

One of Brighton’s favourite watering holes, the Easy Bar in Churchill Square will be throwing a street party to celebrate Jamaica Independence Day on Saturday August 6th from 12pm til late.

There will be an array of Jamaican things to do, see, hear and taste, including live music, DJs, hair braiding, clothes for sale and face painting.

Roots Manuva's Banana Klan, reggae legend Dawn Penn and UK hip hop pioneer Blak Twang are all on the bill, so make sure you arrive nice and early to claim your spot.

New manager of the Easy Bar, Chrissie, is a master of the Caribbean cuisine and will also be serving up some delicious, authentic dishes on the day from her ‘Caribbean Kitchen’.

The Brighton Black History Organisation will also be stopping in to explain Jamaica Black History and let people know what the day is really all about.
