Phil Kay Headlines The First Laughing Horse & Foster's Quadrant Comedy Festival!

Brighton’s friendliest comedy club and Fringe venue, The Quadrant, this year launches the annual Laughing Horse & Fosters Quadrant Comedy Festival, to run September 27th to September 30th 2012.

Comedy Legend and British Comedy Award winner Phil Kay leads the line-up with his solo show “Feral Will”, alongside a solo show from LGBT comedienne Bethany Black, afternoon children’s comedy and magic shows Huggers and The Classics of Magic, the first ever Brighton Gong Show and comedy club style shows from Laughing Horse Comedy, Funny Fillies, Geek Night Out and Shaggers.

The festival also re-launches the regular weekly comedy shows at the Quadrant venue, a venue that is also host to shows at the annual Brighton Fringe.

Geeky humour from superheroes to Manga with comics Richard Sandling, Bec Hill, Rob Deb, Paul Gannon &  Peter Dillon-Trenchard.

7.30pm (doors 7pm) – Bethany Black: Insecurity Guard
Solo comedy show from the UK’s only post-op transsexual gay female Goth comedian.

9pm (doors 8.30pm)
The Funny Fillies – Comedy from the funniest female comics -  with Sajeela Kershi, Suzy Bennett and Lara B King

Saturday September  29th
3.30pm (doors 3pm) – Huggers
Family Friendly and children’s comedy and Cabaret from Nik Coppin, Dr Blue and guests

Phil Kay: Feral Will
Solo comedy show from top comedy legend, award winner and a man who simply is Phil Kay

Laughing Horse’s Big Saturday Night show
The return of the Saturday night comedy club at the Quadrant with comedy from John Mann, Benny Boot, Nick Beaton and MC Lewis Bryan.

Shaggers
Late night laughs from this world touring festival sell-out late show, featuring comedy and shagging stories from Nik Coppin, Mike Belgrave, Paul Revill and Sameena Zehra,

Family Friendly comedy and magic from Pete Campbell Wells

The Brighton Gong
A Comedy Gong show with Brighton’s funniest newcomers battling out to be the first winner of the Brighton Gong, alongside host Sami Stone
