Well, we're nearly there! The kitchen should be fully operational by the end of this week with a whole new menu in place. Chef Phil, Mahoney, & the Sicilian have been conjuring up magical dishes so far and I know that our menu is going to be the best pub grub in town.

The garden doesn't have too far to go till completion now with just a bit of planting, a few licks of paint, the installation of a Victorian street lamp and a couple of other interesting accoutrements. It catches the evening sun (what sun!?) and is nicely sheltered from the summer wind & rain with each covered pod having it's own light & heater.

Inside the Sidey, Grace May Ballantyne has curated a slamming collection of art & curios which will be built on as time rolls stealthily along it's rickety old tracks. Along with a few of her pals, she's also been licking the walls with paint, sanding the aged wood and playing filthy crunk to keep us entertained... not our usual music policy I might add.

Incidentally... If you create playlists on Spotify then please send us a link through Facebook. We've had some awesome ones sent so far and we always welcome more. If they're good that is... which is subjective I guess... but Paul and I will judge them, debate them, disagree possibly, then I'll put on the ones I like 'cos I'm here most of the time...

Anyway, it won't be too long now and we'll be fully in the swing of things. Don't forget it's Glastonbury Weekend at the Sidey and we'll be showing it all, along with a selection of Glastonbury hits from years gone by played by our kid Paul Jonas of Tru Thoughts. Why not swing by and grab yourself a G&T to go with one of our delicious burgers!

Oh.... I nearly forgot! We've only gone & got ourselves 4 player Mario Kart in da house. Now... How do you like them apples then?!
