The Thomas Kemp boasts a rather different character to most pubs, with old maps on the wall and even a full suit of armour in the corner. There's a sun-trap beer garden to the rear, while windows at front and back are thrown wide open durng summer; in winter, you're best off staying inside and making yourself acquainted with the cake. Not just in the winter, for that matter. Cake is good all year round. For that small minority whose gastronomic interests extend beyond sweet treats, they also serve excellent food daily. We can cater for buffets or set meals. The price is minimum £7.00 per head. We allow DJs, but do not have the equipment here, apart from a mixer and leads to enable the music to be plugged into our house system.
