Laid-back in the daytime and lively at night, the Sidewinder is a large and bustling watering hole that's firmly entrenched in the nightlife of Brighton, attracting drinkers from across the city as well as plenty of Kemptown locals. It is also surely the only pub in Brighton to boast not one but two large beer gardens, one of which is heated and covered with sofas to create the perfect outdoor drinking space.  Children are welcome until 8pm. There is an impressive ever changing menu serving until 9pm Monday to Thursday, which includes homemade burgers, spicy Thai noodle soups, risottos, warm salads and much more. Tuesday is Bangers & Mashup!  Serving a choice of sausages with a selection of mash and gravy for just £5. Weekends they serve until 6pm and Sunday is roast day! Traditional pork, lamb, beef, chicken and nut roast sit alongside more extravagant options such as pheasant, guinea fowl, lamb shank, duck and venison.  All served with 8 vegetables, homemade Yorkshire pudding and real gravy. The back section of the pub is available to book for free for musical showcasing and practice on a Sunday night. Those clever BIMM kids are already involved and are taking advantage of the space from 8pm every Sunday!
